- Clothing to bring: At Cobá: Fresh sun protection clothing, comfortable shoes, a hat or cap, and sunglasses. At Xel-Há: Swimsuit, water shoes or sandals, and a change of clothes.
- Items to bring: Biodegradable sunscreen, biodegradable insect repellent, money for tips, snacks, and souvenirs (tipping is optional).
- Sunscreen and insect repellent must only contain titanium dioxide and zinc oxide.
- There is an additional tax fee for the use of video cameras inside the archaeological site, not included in the tour price.
