Description
Feel the sea and sun in Huatulco
Your adventure begins with pick-up from your resort to the marina, where the captain and crew will welcome you into the Sea Goddess (Diosa del Mar) boat. You’ll sail off into the nine bays of Huatulco — Cacaluta, Chachacual, Chahue, Conejos, Maguey, Organo, San Agustin, Tangolunda, and Santa Cruz Bay, from which you’ll depart.
As you sail, revel in the chance to see and visit multiple places used to hide pirate booty in the 1500s. With 36 different beaches in the nine bays, it’s easy to see why pirates frequently used the area to hide themselves and their treasures. Additionally, you’ll see famous rock formations such as Stone Face, Roca Blanca, Bufadero and the heart of Cacaluta.
Snorkel in an underwater park
On your sailing excursion, you’ll pass by Huatulco National Park, which runs along this coastline covering 29,400 acres with coral reefs. Your day filled with sea and sun will bring you into the underwater national park, where you can swim, snorkel and catch glimpses of the abundant sea life that call the bays and park their home.
The entire journey runs for several hours, during which time you can refresh with cold beer, as well as water and soft drinks. When you’re finished exploring Huatulco’s seaside wonders, the Sea Goddess boat will take you back to the marina, where transportation will be on standby to take you back to your resort.
