Begin your dive Catalonia Maroma Beach courses in the morning with instructors certified by PADI, the Professional Association of Diving Instructors. It’s the most recognized dive certification program in the world, and you’ll learn from the best. After understanding the basics, you’ll practice dives using equipment in the resort’s swimming pool and you’ll eventually begin shallow dives off the beach.

After learning the basics on your dive Catalonia Maroma Beach program, you’ll be ready to earn certification. Once certified, you’ll not only enjoy some of the most unique dive opportunities for beginners, you’ll receive the documents that will allow you to continue diving on your own in other destinations, like the deeper dives in the open sea and underground cenotes. See colorful sea anemones, schools of tropical fish, manta rays, sharks and dolphins all from the deep waters by learning to dive. Full diving certification can take 2 to 5 days to complete.

- Rental equipment is only included for the courses and requires an additional fee for tank dives
- Must be in good physical condition, you'll be required to fill out a medical questionnaire
- Bring your coupon, a towel, sunscreen lotion, and a swimsuit or shorts
- $12 USD transportation fee per person per day is not included
- Lunch is not included, so we recommend you pack a box lunch to take with you

PADI Discover Scuba Diving in Catalonia Maroma
This one day program is designed for guests with no scuba diving experience or no diving certification. The class and practice in the pool would take place in the morning, and the dive in the afternoon. Lunch is not provided with this activity.

PADI Open Water Diver in Catalonia MaromaThis is a 3-day course for guests who would like to get their diving certification while on vacation. You'll learn all about diving theory and participate in practical sessions in the resort’s pool. Once ready, you'll make dives down to 60 feet (18 meters) to the local reefs.

PADI Advanced O/W Diver in Catalonia MaromaThis is a 2- to 3-day course for divers who already have their PADI Open Water Diver certification and who would take the next step in their PADI career. This package includes five specialty dives, two of which are mandatory: deep diving and navigation diving. The other three will be selected onsite with your instructor.

Pool Check in Catalonia MaromaMandatory 1-hour pool session before an ocean dive for certified divers who have not taken a dive in more than 12 months.

Refresher Course in Catalonia MaromaThis course provides the mandatory theory and pool sessions for certified divers who have not taken a dive in more than 24 months. You'll receive anywhere from 1 to 1.5 hours of lessons in the pool before heading out on a regular ocean dive.
