Description
Breathtaking views all throughout the island
Your Majestic Circle Island day begins bright and early with pick-up from your Waikiki resort. Riding in a comfortable, air-conditioned bus with oversized viewing windows, you'll make your way first to the island’s volcano, Diamond Head. From this vantage point, you'll see East Oahu, including Maunalua Bay, Kahala and Koko Head. Next, you'll stop at Hanauma Bay Lookout, where Elvis filmed ‘Blue Hawaii’, and then Halona Blowhole and Cove, where ‘From Here to Eternity’ and ‘Pirates of the Caribbean IV’ were filmed. Needless to say, the breathtaking views provide for great photo ops.
Visit temples, waterfalls and plantations
Continuing on the island’s eastern shoreline, you'll get a look at the volcanic coastline and stop at Pali Lookout for valley views. Here, you'll visit the Byodo-in Temple’s beautiful gardens and koi ponds before continuing on Oahu’s famed North Shore beaches, including Waimea Bay, Sunset Beach and Pipeline surf reef. You'll stop in Waimea Valley for a short and guided hike to a waterfall and natural pool in which you may swim before ending your day at the Dole Pineapple Plantation for a taste of fresh pineapple. You'll be back at your resort by evening, in time for dinner!
