Description

Be below par at an above average course

Enjoy all 18 holes of the extraordinary Cinnamon Hill Golf Course, built in 1969 by designers Robert von Hagge and Rick Baril. With a course rating of 74 and a slope rating of 136, Cinnamon Hill gives you 6,828 yards to golf in a seaside setting you will not find anywhere else in the world. The waterfall seen on the 15th hole, for example, is so beautiful that it appeared in the James Bond movie “Live and Let Die.” You can also feel the cool ocean spray as you putt on seaside greens on Cinnamon Hill’s 17th hole, 350 feet above the turquoise Caribbean Sea.

A round of golf with the White Witch?

This impressive golf course goes around several Montego Bay houses, most notably the second hole facing the Rose Hall Great House, once the home of the "White Witch of Rose Hall,” Annie Palmer. The Great House was built in 1770 by John Palmer, whose grandnephew moved in and married Annie, a beautiful English girl who allegedly had black magic powers that would eventually lead to his death. Additionally, the 14th hole gives you a view of country music legend Johnny Cash’s home. In fact, Cash was so inspired by this place, he wrote and recorded “The Ballad Of Annie Palmer” in 1973. With so much history around you, what are you waiting for to be inspired by the Cinnamon Hill Golf Course?
