Description

Sail through Hawaii’s history

Departing from Keauhou Bay on the Big Island, you’ll sail for an hour to beautiful Kealakekua Bay aboard a double-decker catamaran. On your way, you’ll navigate past historical sites and landmarks. Take in views of the birthplace of Hawaii’s longest-reigning monarch, King Kamehameha the Third; or the place where the great navigator Captain James Cook lost his life; and the Kuamo’o Battlefield site, final resting place for warriors who lost their lives in a major battle in 1819.

Naturally protected by wind and waves, Kealakekua Bay offers some of the best snorkeling on the island, with the Cook Monument overlooking from the shores.

Play in the pristine Pacific waters

In Kealakekua Bay, you’ll have an hour and a half to swim, snorkel and play in the water. The catamaran features two 15-foot waterslides, flotations, a high-dive diving board, and snorkel gear. Crew members can provide snorkel instruction for those new to it.

After your water fun, your hour-long sail back to Keauhou Bay includes assorted snacks and an open bar is available for drink purchases.
