Amstar destination management company are dedicated to providing exceptional destination services and products to individuals, groups, corporations, tour operators and meeting planners.
AMSTAR DGT CANCUN, S.A. de C.V. first opened its office doors in 1990 in Cancun, Mexico with a pioneering staff of 20. During the next 10 years, servicing key accounts like Apple Vacations and Canada 3000 Vacations, the Cancun operation grew to over 200 employees attending to over 3,000,000 passengers vacationing in Cancun and the rapidly growing Riviera Maya. Since then, additional offices were opened in destinations such as Puerto Vallarta, Ixtapa, Cozumel, Los Cabos and Huatulco.
Amstar dmc, S.A. was created in the Dominican Republic in 2003 and opened its corporate headquarters in Punta Cana in the same year. This office also started small with a dedicated team of 15 service professionals which quickly grew to a team of over 200.
Over the next 5 years additional destination offices were opened by both companies, including: Puerto Vallarta, Ixtapa, Cozumel, Los Cabos and Huatulco in Mexico and La Romana in the Dominican Republic.
Both companies celebrated openings of new, state-of-the-art offices, further enhancing AMSTAR's ability to achieve its mission of being the leading provider of destination services in their respective locations. As of 2008, the combined AMSTAR family is now an impressive, multi-national team of over 600 people.
Expansion to other countries is planned for the near future and management continue to look for promising opportunities where AMSTAR destination management company can be a driving force in delivering exceptional destination services to the Tourism and Meetings & Incentive market in other key destinations.
